YEREVAN. – A Sudanese man managed to cheat an Armenian woman out of $100, 000 after getting acquainted with her through a social network.

A doctor, native of Armenia, got acquainted with a man from Sudan who introduced himself as a physician from U.S. The man claimed that he is working in Sudan and is very rich, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned.

The man said he is ready to donate one million dollar to charity to help her expand the activities.

Naturally, the man needed information about the account for money transfer. The woman lost $100,000, and later appealed to police.
