YEREVAN. – The policy of [President] Serzh Sargsyan is the policy of a man who has usurped power by way of fraud, who today heads the pyramid of corruption, and who has created a monopolistic economy.

Opposition Armenian National Congress National Assembly (ANC NA) Faction Head Levon Zurabyan stated the aforementioned at Friday’s—and the year’s final—NA briefing. 

And commenting on NA Vice-Speaker and ruling Republican Party press secretary Eduard Sharmazanov’s statement that Thursday’s parliamentary voting in favor of the ratification of the treaty on Armenia’s accession to the Russia-led Eurasian Economic Union meant a support to President Sargsyan’s policy, Zurabyan noted: “I believe they [, the authorities,] are in a deplorable state that they are drawing such conclusions from these facts.”
