The 15th meeting of the Armenia-European Union (EU) Cooperation Committee was convened Tuesday in the Belgian capital city of Brussels.
Karen Chshmarityan, the Minister of Economy of Armenia, and Gunnar Wiegand, the European External Action Service (EEAS) Director for Russia, Eastern Partnership, Central Asia, Regional Cooperation and OSCE, co-chaired this meeting.
The parties conferred on Armenia-EU cooperation issues, the EU assistance to Armenia and relevant programs, and several other matters. At the end of the talk, it was decided to continue the discussions.
On Monday, Chshmarityan met in Brussels with Violeta Bulc, the newly appointed European Commissioner for Transport. The interlocutors discussed the avenues for cooperation.
