YEREVAN. – Armenia wants to attract low cost air companies to its market, Economy Minister Karen Chshmarityan said during government's meeting on Thursday.

He did not name the companies, but confirmed that the talks are underway with airports, chief department of civil aviation and Economy Ministry.

The Minister added that lifting of duties on exit permit visas in Shirak airport will provide a good opportunity for development of tourism in Gyumri. The number of passengers to the city and the republic will increase, thus bringing new customers
