YEREVAN. – Armenian and Georgian delegations held bilateral talks at the Georgian government on Thursday.

Face-to-face meeting of the prime ministers was followed by talks in extended format during which economic and trade ties were discussed.

Georgian PM Irakli Garibashvili stressed that Georgia attaches importance to further deepening and development of cooperation with friendly Armenia.

The heads of Armenian and Georgian cabinets underscored that integration into different unions should serve for development of both countries' economies, creation of new business environment.

Noting importance of unchaining regular Yerevan-Tbilisi and Yerevan-Batumi flights, the Prime Ministers of Armenia and Georgia instructed the heads of the responsible agencies to discuss solutions for the resumption of flights.

The sides underscored importance of modernization and restoration of checkpoints on the border between Armenia and Georgia as well as construction of electricity transmission line.

In the context of changes in Georgia's migration laws, PM Garibashvili promised to solve the problems for foreign citizens and citizens of Armenia by the first quarter of 2015.

Armenian PM conveyed president Serzh Sargsyan's invitation to attend the events that will mark centennial of the Armenian Genocide in 2015.

The Armenian side thanked Georgia for allocating funds to restore Petros Adamyan Armenian theater in Tbilisi.
