YEREVAN. – The main goal of Armenia's Labor and Social Affairs Ministry in 2014 was to provide assistance to the socially vulnerable families, Minister Artem Asatryan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“I think that work done in 2014 is yielding results. The initiatives, in particular regarding the expansion of the list of beneficiaries of maternity allowances, which included about 30 thousand unemployed members, as well as other initiatives with regard to raising bonuses and pensions, were the result of consistent work,” the Minister said.

It should be noted that in 2014 the National Assembly rejected only two of the bills presented by Artem Asatryan.
