Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group US former Co-Chair and former US Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Matthew Bryza, and his Russian colleague Vasili Istratov have lost their positions as members of the Board of Directors of AzNar JSC named after Teymur Ahmedov.

The respective decision was taken at a general meeting of shareholders of the company, reported Turan news agency of Azerbaijan.

A total of 99.94 percent shares of this company are owned by Farhad Akhmedov, a Russia-based Azerbaijani tycoon.

At the general meeting, it was decided to abolish the Board of Directors of JSC AzNar. Under the law, companies with fewer than fifty individual founders cannot have Board of Directors.
