Renowned Russian businessman German Sterligov’s wife, speaking to the Komsomolskaya Pravda daily of Russia, confirmed that their family has moved to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (Artsakh).
In Alyona Sterligova’s words, this republic has preserved the ethical foundations, and its population speaks Russian, too.
“Where else could German have taken us with our views and practices?” Sterligova asked noting that all the locals in Artsakh are working to assist them.
She said her husband had suddenly decided to move to Karabakh when they were in Belarus. But she could not give reasons for their leaving Russia.
“I was just told that we can’t go back to Russia at this point,” said Sterligova.
At the same time, however, she refuted the information that her husband’s connections with the Russian nationalists could have been the reason for their moving to the NKR.
