Actor Omar Sharif famous for his role in films Lawrence of Arabia and Doctor Zhivago, has passed away at the age of 83, AlArabia reported.
Sharif won two Golden Globe awards and was nominated for an Oscar for his role in Lawrence of Arabia.
After his role in Henri Verneuil “Mayrik” (Mother) movie telling about the Armenian Genocide, Sharif was banned from entering Turkey.
