The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation has developed horrifying photographs that warn about the harmfulness of smoking, and these photographs will appear on the cigarette packs in the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) members countries (Armenia, Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan), reported Izvestia daily of Russia.
Once the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission gives a final approval to these new sketches, the cigarette manufacturers will have one year to make design changes on their cigarette packs, wrote the Russian daily.
According to the draft decision of the aforesaid council, Armenian-, Russian-, Belarusian-, and Kazakh-language warnings will appear on the cigarette packs being sold in the EEU countries.
