YEREVAN. – A tragic incident occurred at the Government Building of Armenia, early Monday morning.

According to preliminary information, one of the security officers had attempted to commit suicide.

He was taken to the No. 1 University Hospital in capital city Yerevan. 

Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the hospital representatives that they had admitted a 32-year-old man, who is undergoing surgery, and he has a gunshot wound to his head.

The circumstances behind the incident are being ascertained.
