As many as 23 people died in the Andhra Pradesh state of India on Sunday after being struck by lightning, reported Deccan Chronicle citing the local authorities.
The lightning had accompanied the heavy rains due to the low pressure over the Bay of Bengal, reported RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.
