YEREVAN. – Armenia will hardly switch to ruble in trade with Russia in coming five years, Agriculture Minister Sergo Karapetyan said commenting on Armenian PM's remarks.

During the recent meeting of the Eurasian Union prime ministers, Hovik Abrahamyan offered not to tie trade to the US dollar and make respective calculations in Russian rubles.

“The issue will be discussed for a long time. I do not think that we will switch to ruble in trade with Russia in coming five years. There is an idea to switch to rubles while dealing with Russia in terms of strategic goods, such as natural gas,” he explained referring to PM's remark.
