STEPANAKERT. – President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan visited south-eastern section of the border and got acquainted with the situation and course of the service.

Bako Sahakyan expressed gratitude to the soldiers for keeping the country's borders steadfast, showing high military spirit and patriotism. He underlined that consistent increase of the armed forces’ combat readiness would continue to be among the key issues the country is faced with.

NKR Deputy Prime Minister Arthur Aghabekyan, Defense Minister Levon Mnatsakanyan, a group of members of the Armenian Defense Ministry's Public Council and other officials accompanied the President during the visit.
