YEREVAN. – U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Richard Mills has called on small and medium enterprises working in Armenia not to be afraid to speak up.

“The burden of corruption falls on the smallest businesses, on a small business person who is trying to start,” he said in an interview with the RFE/RL Armenian service.

“My message to anyone who has an issue with corruption is to find a way to highlight it. Do not be afraid to speak up. I do believe there are tools at your disposal within the government to address it, and we will try to give you more tools,” Ambassador added.
