STEPANAKERT. – Permanent Representative of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic to U.S. Robert Avetisyan delivered a speech in Denver at the event entitled ‘Colorado, We Thank You’ organized jointly by the ‘Armenians of Colorado’ organization and the U.S. Western Region Office of the Armenian National Committee of America, which was dedicated to the recognition of the Armenian Genocide by the State of Colorado.

The event was attended by Colorado legislators, representatives of the Armenian organizations of America, and members of the Armenian community.

In his speech, Robert Avetisyan briefed on the historical and legal grounds of the establishment of the NKR statehood, as well as the stages of the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict settlement.

The representative of Artsakh emphasized the importance of the unity of the Motherland and the Diaspora and expressed his gratitude to the Colorado state legislators and the Armenian organizations for defending the interests of Artsakh.
