The President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, on Saturday paid a visit to Alapars village in the Kotayk Province.

In Alapars, Sargsyan toured the Caucasus Food company orchards, which are designed to ensure a high yield.

The President was briefed on the company’s investments, work carried out, and future projects toward the development of this area.

Caucasus Food has set up 29.3 hectares of walnut and apple orchards.

The apple and walnut trees are expected secure a full yield in the fourth (40 tons/hectare) and seventh (7 tons/hectare) year, respectively.
