STEPANAKERT. – The adversary violated the ceasefire along the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces around 1,000 times, from September 13 to 19.

During this time, Azerbaijan fired more than 16,000 shots in the direction of Armenian military positions, and by way of rifle weaponry, mortars and grenade launchers, reported the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army.

The adversary also fired—against the Armenian military positions—from a Turkish-made reactive rocket propelled howitzer.

As a result of the corresponding retaliatory actions taken by the vanguard units of the NKR Defense Army, however, the adversary’s “activeness” was silenced.
