Armenia is moving forward towards development with confident steps, Aghavni Gevorgyan, Adviser on Cultural Affairs to Armenia’s Honorary Consul in Plovdiv said in an interview with the national Bulgarian TV.  

According to her, the Armenian community of Plovdiv is going to share its joy and hold an open-air concert in one of the city’s squares.

“We have got many letters, including from non-Armenians, from all over the world – both electronic and paper-based. One of them is from a Greek man from Cyprus, who is a big friend of the Armenian people,” Gevorgyan said.

The story also tells about the Armenian Cultural House in the Old Town of Plovdiv, where the reporter’s attention was drawn by glass coffee containers.

“The Armenian House cannot do without coffee. And Armenians worldwide are today celebrating the Independence Day of their republic,” reporter Galena Paskova said.
