Death toll in stampede during annual pilgrimage in Mecca has reached 453 people, the civil defense of Saudia Arabia tweeted.
Over 710 people have been injured, RIA Novosti reported.
The incident occurred near a tent camp for pilgrims. This is the worst incident since 2006 when at least 346 pilgrims died in a stampede.
