YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Friday received Mark Horton, Head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission to Armenia.

President Sargsyan expressed hope that Mr. Horton's regular mission will be effective in terms of assessment and overcoming negative effects of a foreign impact on Armenia's economy as well as finding solutions to promote economic growth. The Armenian leader hailed the joint projects and cooperation with IMF and thanked for the assistance provided by the Fund.

President Sargsyan noted importance of reviewing and confirming results of Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program in Armenia by IMF executive board.
