The Ballantine producer of Scotland, together with the Open Space Agency, has manufactured a special whisky glass which astronauts may use in zero gravity.

The prototype of this glass was prepared with 3D printing and considering the laws of physics, and this enables to enjoy this beverage also in space.

Since the majority of liquids turn into a sticky jelly in zero gravity, the Rose Gold mouthpiece with a galvanic spiral of this glass creates a surface tension to prevent the aforementioned.

Even though it is not known exactly when these glasses will be on sale, they can also be used on Earth, reported Kedem.

Although alcohol is prohibited in a spacecrafts, the experts at Ballantine have also manufactured a Space Whisky.
