The discussion of the two anti-Armenian reports may not be held at PACE’s winter session. Armenian National Committee of Europe spokesman Bedo Demirjian, who is in Strasbourg now, told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent.

He hopes that tomorrow morning when the projects are put forward for discussion, the MPs will turn them down.  “They may not be put forward to discussion at all. There are different opinions now. I think some there will be some certainty by the end of the day,” Demirjian said.

According to him, before the beginning of the session, the ex-President of PACE Anne Brasseur made a statement, noting that there were many proposals to decline the discussion of the anti-Armenian reports.   

Two anti-Armenian resolutions are expected to be put to a vote on Tuesday at the PACE Winter Session. They are PACE MP Robert Walter’s (UK) report entitled “Escalation of Violence in Nagorno-Karabakh and Other Occupied Territories of Azerbaijan,” and PACE MP Milica Marković’s (Bosnia and Herzegovina) report about Sarsang Reservoir in Nagorno-Karabakh, entitled “Inhabitants of frontier regions of Azerbaijan are deliberately deprived of water.”
