The first dog cafe in the U.S. is set to open in April, Gazeta reported quoting the People. The institution called The Dog Cafe, is located in Silver Lake, California.

Founder and owner of the cafe Sarah Wolfgang cooperates with several local shelters. The purpose of the project is to offer a new way people communication with potential pets and create more relaxed atmosphere for dogs looking for a new home.

Besides, the restaurant invites all those who cannot have a pet.

The cafe is set to open on April 7 and it will be possible to get there for $10. The price includes tea or coffee.

If The Dog Cafe is a successful project, Wolfgang will open The Dog Cafe in major cities of the U.S.
