MOSCOW. - Armenian PM Hovik Abrahamyan today attended the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting in Moscow.

The delegation led by Abrahamyan was comprised of Armenian Deputy PM, Minister of International Economic Integration and Reforms Vache Gabrielyan,  Chairman of the Armenian State Revenue Committee (SRC) Hovhannes Hovsepyan, Minister of International Economic Integration and Reforms Suren Karayan, Armenian Deputy FM Shavarsh Kocharyan and other dignitaries. 

First, the meeting of the prime ministers of the EAEU member-states took place in a restricted format, this being followed by the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting in an extended format.

The PMs discussed a wide range of issues on the current agenda of the EAEU. Special attention was attached to the issue of taking the dialogue and economic cooperation in the EAEU-China format to a new level. By the end of the meeting, a number of decisions were signed.  

On the sidelines of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting, Armenian PM Hovik Abrahamyan talked to his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev. Upon the latter’s proposal, the next meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will be held in Yerevan on 20 May 2016.
