German Foreign Ministry has published recommendations for German tourists in Turkey, Gazeta reported quoting Focus.
The ministry advises German tourists to be attentive while choosing topics of conversations in public places. The ministry advises to refrain from public criticism of the Turkish authorities, including the President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
In addition, the text of recommendations contains caution for expression of sympathy in relation to the terrorist organizations.
Against criminal prosecution of the TV host and the satirist Jan Bemerman who has read the offensive poem about Erdogan on air of the German television, these recommendations acquire new relevance, the edition writes. However, the German Foreign Ministry said that they have nothing to do with the scandal and had been approved before it.
