Polish Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski stated that, the European Union should think over the future Eastern Partnership program, Hartiya97 reported.

 Foreign Minister said that they should think over what to do with six states, the status of which is very different. Three states have signed agreements on association with the European Union, and other three states are in temporary uncertainty. He also added that they should solve the issue, either to divide the project or preserve it as it is, but some individual program of cooperation should be offered to each participant.

The Eastern Partnership program was adopted by the European Union in 2008 for development of the EU integration communications with Ukraine, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia and Belarus.

The authors of the project were the foreign ministers of Poland and Sweden, Radoslaw Sikorski and Carl Bildt.

In March, 2015 Foreign Minister of Austria Sebastian Kurz declared that Vienna will demand revision of the Eastern Partnership program and policy of the neighborhood of the European Union in connection with the conflict in Ukraine.

In January, 2016 Waszczykowski declared about the need of revision of the Eastern Partnership program which was a fiasco.
