Speaking in support of Ukraine’s Zakarpattia Oblast Governor Hennadiy Hennadiyovych Moskal in the fight against smugglers, the country’s PM Volodymyr Groysman had a slip of the tongue.

He uttered “покрасти” (to steal) instead of “покласти” (to put). The fragment from the PM’s speech has been published on YouTube.

“I’ll do my best to put an end to what is going on today on state borders” Groysman meant, Apostrophe writes.

On Friday, Moskal filed a resignation to the PM, requesting to redirect the document to Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko.  He explained his decision by the change of Zakarpattia customs head, which took place without his agreement, and for the benefit of the “cigarette mafia,” which deals with smuggling of tobacco products in EU countries.
