British Prime Minister David Cameron considers that a possible separation of the UK from the European Union increases the risk of war in Europe, The Telegraph writes quoting excerpts from a speech given by Prime Minister in London today.

According to the British PM, the EU helped to unite the countries, which bite into each other's throats for decades, and there is no guarantee that the peace and stability of the region will not appear under the threat in case of withdrawal of the Great Britain.

Cameron, being the opponent of an exit of the United Kingdom from the EU, is sure that this step will be reckless and irresponsible. He mentioned that if they remain, they know  what to expect, The Telegraph reported.

From the point of view of the British Prime Minister, first of all the separation of Britain from the European Union will negatively affect ordinary citizens.

He considers that everything will be normal for rich people, big business, but if they leave the common market, the jobs and livelihoods of ordinary people will be under threat.

The referendum on separation of Great Britain from the European Union will take place on June 23. The recent poll by the independent agency Ipsos-MORI showed that many other countries will also be ready to bring up issues relating to similar referendums, if the United Kingdom after all leaves the EU, RIA Novosti reported.
