Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz stated that the EU should not become dependent on Turkey while setting the crisis with refugees, he said after talks with Greek counterpart Nikos Kotzias, RIA Novosti reported.

He said that they should be careful to not to fall into dependence on Turkey in order not to let the last year's crisis with migrants be repeated.

In turn Kotzias stated that he expects Ankara to implement previously agreed measures for the settlement of the refugee problem. He also added that there are internal political factors but he hopes that this will not affect the relations between the countries.
