German voters are tired of Angela Merkel  in 11 years and do not want her to head the government again in 2017, Deutsche Welle reported quoting the survey conducted by the INSA company by request of the Cicero magazine.

According to results of poll, about two-thirds of Germans (about 64%) do not want the Federal Chancellor and her party Christian Democratic Union (CDU) to lead the Government as a result of the federal elections next year.

INSA also conducted another poll for the newspaper Bild. According to its results, the ruling coalition has never been so unpopular in Germany.

If federal elections took place today, the CDU and CSU parties wouldhave got only 30.5 percent of votes.

At the same time the Alternative for Germany party that is opposing migration policy of Merkel, on the contrary, gradually gains popularity. It has the support of 15 percent of population.

Merkel's popularity has strongly fallen after more than one million refugees from the countries of the Middle East arrived in Germany as a result of her migration policy. This policy is opposed also by some colleagues of Merkel from party — in particular, the leader of CSU Horst Zeekhofer.
