A group of Romanian immigrants have been living in their cars ina  parking lot of a shopping center in London for ten years, The Sun reported.

According to the newspaper, the immigrants earn their livings cash-in-hand labouring work., eating budget products and drinking energy drinks. They do not plan to return home as they consider that financial conditions are better in the UK.

“The money is much better here than in Romania. A day’s pay here could take a week to earn back home. Living in a car is not a great life, but we don’t have any choice. And it’s still better than Romania”, one of immigrants said.

The newspaper notes that the locals repeatedly complained of antisocial behavior of some inhabitants of the parking.
