Kuwait's Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Suleiman Al Jaralan said that all oil exporters do not have any other choice than to freeze the current volumes of production. This issue is scheduled for discussion at the next OPEC meeting on June 2 , reports RIA Novosti. As for Iran according to the official “the market does not give [Iran] an opportunity to increase production."

Due to OPEC internal disagreements, the oil exporting countries during the April meeting in Doha could not reach an agreement on freezing export production.  A number of countries of the cartel, primarily Saudi Arabia, began to insist that all OPEC countries should become the parties of the agreement, including Iran , which had expressed its readiness to freeze its output , only in case of reaching pre-sanction volumes , average 4 million barrels per day.
