The owner of a Brazilian tattoo saloon was accused of animal cruelty, after he had covered his dog with several tattoos, report the Metro. According to the publication, Emerson Damasceno posted images of his dog on his Facebook page. The photograph shows five tattoos made on its nose, ears and below its eyes.  The new appearance of the dog dismayed users of the social network, who begun criticizing Damasceno, after which the latter had to close his Facebook account. Damasceno said, he believed that tattoos would protect his dog from illness. His girlfriend, who supported him, said that Damasceno took his dog to the veterinarian and had him examined,  before making those tattoos.
