YEREVAN. – Minister of Defense of Armenia, Vigen Sargsyan, on Wednesday received British Ambassador Judith Margaret Farnworth.

Sargsyan noted that Armenia and the United Kingdom (UK) collaborate effectively in the defense sector, and expressed confidence that these relations will further expand and grow deeper.

Also, the Armenian defense minister congratulated the UK’s newly appointed military attaché to Armenia, Lieutenant Colonel David Ross Ethell—whose diplomatic residence in the Georgian capital city of Tbilisi—for his accreditation to Armenia, and wished him productive activity.

At the ensuing talk, the interlocutors reflected on matters of mutual interest in Armenian-British defense cooperation, and regional security.
