The U.S. officials and western countries were fully responsible for the failure of the recent truce in Aleppo, Syrian President Bashar Assad told Politika.

According to him, the U.S. was responsible not only for truce’s failure but also for the failure of political process and political negotiations. Assad said that the U.S. demand ceasefire only when it was necessary for regrouping of militants and providing additional support. He also noted that when fail to do it. they demand terrorists break the truce, RIA Novosti reported.
