At least 30 Afghan civilians, including women and children, were killed in a NATO airstrike in northern province of Kunduz, provincial spokesman Mahmood Danish said.
“Afghan forces and coalition troops conducted a joint operation against the Taliban insurgents. In the bombardment 30 Afghan civilians were martyred and 25 others were wounded,” he said.
Fighters of Taliban movement lunched heavy fighting against government army and its allies from coalition.
On Thursday two American soldiers were killed in fights in Kunduz, Tribune reported.
