In Germany, attacks on refugee shelters this year from January to October have increased compared with the same period last year. There have been registered 832 such violations, reported the DW, referring to the Federal Office of Criminal Affairs. According to Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung, the police considers there to be right-wing extremist motives in 772 attacks and political reasons in another 60 cases. A material damage has been recorded in 330 cases. The German law enforcement authorities have registered 63 cases of firing, 12 attempts of blowing up refugees’ shelters, as well as 4 cases of blasting.
