President Rodrigo Duterte ordered to cancel of Philippine's purchase of police rifles from the U.S., Reuters reported.
He stated that the government will look for a cheaper option.
It was noted that U.S. State Department halted the planned sale of some 26,000 assault rifles to the Philippines' national police.
