The British Government's appeal against the ruling of the Supreme Court decision requiring approval of the parliament for Brexit will be heard on December 5. The hearing will last four days. The verdict will be announced early next year, reports the BBC.

The British Prime Minister Theresa May announced that she still expects negotiations about Brexit to start in March. On November 3, the Supreme Court ruled that without approval of the parliament the government cannot announce about putting into action Article 50 of Lisbon Treaty and formally beginning the process of existing from the EU.

The government claims the right to make such a decision without consulting with the Parliament, based on the results of June referendum. EU negotiations on the terms of the Brexit, that will last about two years, will be impossible without putting Article 50 into effect.
