The U.S. foreign policy will become less predictable with Donald Trump's victory, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier stated.

“I think we must expect that American foreign policy will become less predictable for us and we must expect that the United States will be more inclined to make decisions on its own,” he said.

German FM noted that the results of the U.S. presidential elections differs from what Germany expected, Reuters reported.

“The result is not to be underestimated. The result is different from what most people in Germany desired. But of course we have to accept it”, Steinmeier added.
