King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has congratulated the Republican Party candidate Donald Trump on his election as the U.S. President. He expressed hope that with Trump’s accession to power will bring stability to the Middle East, RIA Novosti reports, citing Al Akhbar.  

“I am pleased to send you, on behalf of the people and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in my own name, the best congratulations and wishes of good health and happiness for you and the friendly people of the United States of America further progress and prosperity, wishing you every success in your missions to achieve security and stability in the Middle East region and the world as a whole,” the King’s message reads.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques praised the historical deep-rooted close relations between the two friendly countries for which everyone is looking forward to developing in all fields for the interests of the two countries.
