The richest people of the world have lost $41 billion due to the fall of stock markets against the backdrop of Donald Trump’s victory in the U.S. presidential elections, as per the estimates of Bloomberg, RIA Novosti reports.

According to the agency, Mexico’s wealthiest person, Carlos Slim, lost $5.1 billion or 9.1 percent of his fortune.

The fortune of ten Mexican billionaires reduced only by $6.5 billion. Eva Gonda Rivera, Mexico’s fourth-richest person, lost $487 million.
