Three people were killed and 13 wounded in an explosion at Bagram Airbase outside Kabul, TOLO news reported.
Bagram is the largest U.S. military base and the coalitions in Afghanistan. Bagram district governor confirmed the incident and said it had happened when Afghan workers were getting ready to start work at the base.
“We can confirm that there was an explosion at Bagram Airfield this morning just after 5:30 am. There have been casualties,” representatives of the NATO mission said.
Subsequently, a military source told NBC TV channel that the suicide bomber arranged an explosion.
