The congratulatory message of the chairman of the Azerbaijani opposition party Popular Front Party Ali Kerimli to the newly elected president of the US Donald Trump caused heated debates on the Internet.

It appears that Kerimli and his party were fully convinced that it is Hillary Clinton from the Democrats, who will win the elections. At the night of election results, Ali Kerimli has promptly sent a congratulatory message to Donald Trump. However, either because of lack of time or neglect, Kerimli sent the e-mail originally written for Clinton and only added words: "Mr. Trump," reports haqqin.az.

It turned out, that Ali Kerimli officially congratulated Donald Trump for Hillary Clinton's victory. In his message Kerimli wished Democrats a good luck and reminded that Hillary's husband, Bill Clinton, was a good US president.
