YEREVAN. – Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technology (IT), Vahan Martirosyan, on Tuesday met with World Bank (WB) Country Manager for Armenia, Laura Bailey.

The minister lauded the cooperation with WB, especially the ongoing Lifeline Road Network Improvement Project for Armenia, the Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technology informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Bailey, for her part, noted that the WB projects that are carried out jointly with the ministry are in their final phase. She added that the cooperation has been fruitful, and they are happy to continue working with this reliable partner.

Martirosyan, in turn, expressed the hope that the successful track-record of Armenia’s road projects with the WB will continue also in the IT, communication, and transport sectors.
