The Prosecutor General’s Office of Turkey has accepted the first indictment in connection with the failed military coup attempt in July.

A total 62 members of the Turkish military—28 of whom are in custody—stand accused in the first indictment report on the case into this coup attempt, reported Agos Armenian bilingual weekly of Istanbul. 

In the report, the orchestrating of Istanbul-Armenian journalist Hrant Dink’s murder is also attributed to these accused.

Hrant Dink was the founder and chief editor of Agos. He was gunned down on January 19, 2007 in front of then office of this newspaper.
