YEREVAN. – The competitive phase of the construction of the reservoir was completed in Vedi, Armenia
Chairman of the state committee for water resources Arsen Harutyunyan said construction of the reservoir will begin in 2017 and will last four years.
“The capacity of the reservoir will be 29 million cubic meters, due to which the irrigated areas of Ararat valley will increase,” he said.
He also informed that in 2017 competition will be announced for the construction of Kaps reservoir.
