The President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko announced, that Belarus wanted to have good relations with the US, but didn’t hurry events, reports BELTA.

"We have expressed our position. The US is an empire, is a leading country in the world, and we need to have good relationship with this country. However, we shouldn’t hurry up the events and shouldn’t promise what we will never do," said Lukashenko. He noted, that the direction to build relations with the United States was set, and Belarus should follow that route.
