People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) seized a U.S. Navy underwater drone in the South China Sea, WSJ reported.
The U.S. demanded return of the UUV which is used for measurement of levels of temperature and salinity of water. The UUV was captured at a distance of about 80 km off the west coast of the Philippines.
Chinese captured drone on December 15 just before the oceanographic ship of the U.S. Navy were going to pick it up on the board.
